Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 30 minutes

    • 4 large Kaiser buns

    • 2 chicken breast, boneless and skinless

    • 2 cups Aurora Hot & Spicy Bread Crumbs

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

    • 1/4 cup freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese

    • 1 teaspoon Aurora Oregano

    • 1/3 cup KFI Tamarind Chutney Sauce

    • 4 slices Jalapeño Havarti cheese

    • Aurora Hot Muffuletta

    • Aurora Kosher Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    • Aurora Grape Seed Oil , for frying

Serving Ideas: Cook up chicken ahead of time and reheat when ready to assemble the KC Kaiser!

  • Start to Finish Time: 30 minutes

Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make 4 equal pieces. Cover with plastic wrap and gently pound with a meat mallet to an even thickness of about 3/8 inch. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Set up a breading station: mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. In a second dish, beat eggs with water and half of the Pecorino Romano cheese.

Dredge chicken in flour, shake off excess, then dip in egg mixture, coating both sides. Let excess egg drip off and press into breadcrumbs, packing them in. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Heat grape seed oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts, 2 at a time, until golden brown and cooked through on each side.

While hot, smother chicken with Tamarind Chutney sauce, place in a Kaiser, top with jalapeno Havarti cheese and Muffuletta. Enjoy!
