Seared Bok Choy

    • 8 bok choy

    • 1 tablespoon Planters Peanut Oil

    • 1/4 cup boiling water for the Spicy Planters Peanut sauce

    • 2 tablespoons Planters Chunky Peanut Butter

    • 2 teaspoons Tutto Calabria crushed hot chili peppers

    • 2 teaspoons Aurora wildflower honey

    • 2 teaspoons water

    • 1 teaspoon Ponti soy glaze

    • 1/2 teaspoon rice vinegar

  • Start to Finish Time: 15 minutes

    Slice the Bok Choy in half lengthwise. Rinse and pat dry.

    In a small bowl, prepare the sauce by combining all the ingredients and stirring until well combined. Set aside.

    Heat oil in a large pan (with a lid) over medium heat. Sear the bok choy in a single layer cut side down until charred to a dark brown colour, about 5 minutes.

    Flip over then carefully pour in the boiling water and cover for a minute. Remove lid and continue to cook until water has evaporated.

    Transfer onto serving platter and brush the sauce on all sides. Serve warm and enjoy!
