Pino’s Panettone French Toast

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 10 minutes

    • Your favourite Panettone or Pandoro

    • 1 egg

    • 1/4 cup whole milk

    • 1 pinch of cinnamon

    • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

    • icing sugar

  • Start to Finish Time: 10 minutes

    Cut two slices of Panettone or Pandoro approximately 1 inch thick.

    Gently whisk egg, milk and cinnamon together in a shallow dish.

    Dip slices into the mixture turning to coat both sides and absorbing all the liquid.

    Heat a nonstick pan over medium to low heat and melt the butter.

    Cook the Panettone until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

    Serve with honey, maple syrup or a dusting of icing sugar.
